Though with hacks, who's responsibility is it? I'd imagine its actually Valve's, since the game is VAC protected? They would be in charge of making sure VAC stays up to date with all the hacks?
Which is why I fear Valve will end up being sued over the whole ordeal even though had Infinity Ward gone down the route of dedicated servers this would very likely be a much smaller problem.
You can hack on the 360 version for sure, had a work experience lad in before xmas who was on about it. Couldnt see my point of view that it ruins the game like, but there we go.
Have Valve/IW made a statement or pledge about the rampant cheating?
People who hack the game really are pathetic. I've come across a fair few of them. Along with the lag and frustratingly pedestrian lobby system it's just as well the weapons and maps are well designed because otherwise this game would be shelved, permanently.
And you all bought it knowing full well what the new online system brought.
Sheep.
They took a HUGE step backwards in terms of PC multiplayer gaming.
It's just lol worthy, the whole thing. The devs, the game, the consumers.

For £33 its been more than worth it. God knows how much hours I have spent on it. Its been a worthy stop gap.. what else would I be playing? I am bored of everything else so even if I only play it from Nov to March that's more than most games. Hell I have hardly even played L4D2, for all its faults MW2 is simply the game I find most fun atm!
