Had a golden moment yesterday when I realise that 9.12s weren't actually crossfiring my cards - enabled Catalyst AI and boom, double FPS.
Ho ho ho, stupid drivers x]
My pc just black screens on start up with the 9.12's went back to 9.10's
Are you sure about that?
CAT A.I has to be enabled for Crossfiring & the default is enabled at all times including when using a single gpu & i have yet to ever have an install that disabled CAT A.I by its self.
Yeah, weird ain't it? I'm guessing that CCC stored some setting somewhere from when I had a single card (had AI off then) and the 9.12s picked up on it?
So it was not the stupid drivers fault then as you set the A.I to Disabled when you had a single GPU.
THE default for A.I is enabled Standard for Single or Multi GPU & no not weird as CCC has been doing the remember settings to save people time & hassle of setting them all again when people upgrade the drivers for a long time.
Woooow chill pill my friend!

has anyone else here had the same problem where video playback quality is extremely poor?
there are other people having the exact same problems yet with HD 4xxx series. Video overlay is choppy and pixelated and even the video itself it pixelated, has a lot of more patterns and looks like its running in some kind of interlaced mode. i have tried all AVIVO settings and nothing has changed. I have recently upgraded my win7 to the 7600 build, and one of the first things i did was install k-lite mega codec pack 166, then latest version of divx. I have tried uninstalling both, and trying one without the other. playback is no different in wmp, vlc, divx, or powerdvd 7
10.1 next buddy and no, no news yet.
why does it fail![]()
