Valentine's Day

I do believe in the whole you don't have to do something just because its that day but its all about choice in the end you don't " have to " but if people want to then its up to them. Me and my bf have decided to just do what we did last year meal and then go into town for a few drinks, they'll be no stupidly expensive gift either I have got something but I didn't break the bank.

Not sure yet although we both agreed its pointless she'll still get a card and a present as I value my life...

To all the guys saying that the girlfriend doesn't believe in valentines day I'd atleast get a card to cover yourself under the guise that you are just being "sweet"

It's our 3 year anniversary this year so i decided that i would take her on Holiday to Gran Caneria for 2 weeks.

But i told her that it counts as Valentines and her Bday as well as a holiday isn't cheap!

To the people who say its not worth the effort: you're doing it wrong! A mans best insentive to treat your lady is because if you make her happy that day they will make you happy that night. And if they dont - time to get a newer model ;)

edit: prob going for a meal and a film

Ok so I didn't get round to ordering flowers at work for the new girlfriend and now I feel bad. We can't see each other tomorrow (because of work for both of us), so I am seeing her tonight for a meal.

....I need help finding roses for her tomorrow...which is impossible online, any suggestions? I feel obliged only because she likes flowers and we're quite early on in the stages of our relationship...and I told her iIdon't do valentines days!

Went for a meal last night to avoid the crappy set menus, got flowers, chocs and tickets for ricky gervais to give her tomorrow morning in bed (with brekkie). Just hope she stays out of the spare room so the flowers arent discovered!

it's my girlfriends birthday on feb 14th too... unfortunatly, shes doing a post grad degree and out of the 4 days of the year she has to be in uni alll day - today and tomorrow are 2 of them :( I'm down here at uni so everything is postponed until wednesday. probably just get drunk together :D

probably will be cooking and eating in. been out for every other year and it's normally overcrowded, over priced and rushed service in most restaurants, they seem to want to get rid of you as soon as possible, trying to cram as many covers in as possible :(

I've got her car bulbs for her birthday! *oh Rick you romantic you!*

Going out for a meal tonight then go back to a hotel that i booked for us...nothing really fancy tbh.

We're just cooking up a storm at home and lazing around tonight, and tomorrow just spending the day together rather than going mad spending a ridiculous amount of money that is just not necessary.

He's still working in LA so not doing anything. He got me a really sweet Moonpig card that I really wasn't expecting. We might try and have a Skype date tomorrow.
