That's nice Nathan, really really nice.

I'm guessing you had to compromise though... she got to pick the wallpaper in return for you being allowed to have a decent setup? :D

Yes lol :( I quite like the purple against the dark wood, works well!

Too much laminate in this thread, you need to buy genuine hard wood for flooring, looks awesome!

Yeah I live in the country and in the summer the flies are terrible, I made the mistake of leaving the grills off for a few years, the flies pooped all over them. Took me ages to clean them.

TripleT where did you get that big glass bottle from? it is quite the cool addition

Haha, I've had it for about 20 years I think :o My uncle gave it to me as a kid, I'm pretty sure it's from a pub! :p It's my lose change bottle now though. Think I had over £100 in it last time I emptied it (September just gone)

Some lovely setups - particularly ronski. Stunning. Your setup looks good too, Nathan, having seen the thread too.

Here's a before:

Horrid carpet, hated it from the day we moved in.

Re-decorated about October time; new carpet, 3-piece suite and managed to pursuade the missus a new telly was in good order. After all, what's Christmas Eastenders (*pukes*) on a 32"? :D

Telly has, however, broken and is in for repair at present. :(

It certainly is. Got me through the 'not buying that LCD, it can't even do black properly' phase :D

Really happy with it actually, it's now straining my chest of drawers in my bedroom in pristine nick.

Nice, I always though HD CRTs were a great idea back then. They were chuffing huge but the picture quality on my old JVC tube still surprises me sometimes. Has certainly taken a good 5 year or so for plasmas to be as good, contrast/black wise.

Mine is fairly slim as far as they go, but it weighs 55KG! Absolute nightmare to shift about (not that you usually move TVs about). Such as shame it only had 1 HDMI on it as I think if I didn't have to faff about with optical switches and HDMI switches I'd have kept it till it broke.

I'll give you £20 for it :D
There fantastic tv's, I'm sure my dad's still got his older one!
