No. Pre-ordered mine 2 weeks before release fomr them and had it very quick 
Also, AVP3 has just gone to top of the all format chart, dethroning Bioshock 2.

Yup still not arrived, lucky I bought it from town on Saturday. Have requested to return the item as they havent got it to me for release and it hasnt even been delivered yet, so it'll be going straight back in the post, very very poor service, think I may move companys tbh
I phoned them and stressed that i saw it in stock days before release and they still couldnt get it to me on time, all the woman could say was "please allow us 5 working days" Bah.

Have canceled all my play pre orders and will never use them again...they used to send he day before but for the last 12 months every single pre order has been late. They can get knotted ill use the other million online stores to get pre orders now
Runs fine here at 2048x1152 with all settings at maximum including AA and AF.
I get around 60-120 FPS, the weird thing is the game seemed very slow when turning etc like time was slowed down. I think this was due to minimising the game and reopening, a fairly strange issue.
I sold it to another friend in 2 days... it was so easy to complete in single player with all 3 species >.<

Read an interesting idea suggesting that missing menu options such as motion blur being due to running a pirate copy. Anyone here debunk that theory?
No I have 3 options greyed out that I can not alter even using the dx 11 launcher, one of them being AA
which is a pain as the jaggys are horrible, game was pre ordered from play, so not a pirate.

That's pretty poor. Much longer and I'm going to start sending moaning emails to Steam/etc I guess.
Speaking of which, I wish they would hurry up. Player hosted games are roooobish!
when minimising this game it can use crazy amounts of ram ! ive noticed mw2 does it aswell sometimes. there was a post on the avp galaxy site something like 3 gig of ram
if there wasa slight slow down then like you said it would have been from catch up from minimiseCompleted it this morning, good game, but nothing amazing.
I didn't have high expectations for the game, so while I wasn't disappointed, I do wish I waited until a price drop.
As with the previous games, I found the Marine campaign to be the best, good solid action in places, but is lacking in scares, I'm a big pansy when it comes to these kind of games, but most of the scares/tension seem to be in the 1st mission.
the Predator campaign was good fun as well, jumping around and stalking the enemy.
The Alien campaign was a let down though, i found it frustrating in places and mosly boring.
Can't complain about any other apsects off the game, had no problems running it on my machine, though she is showing her age, so I ran it in Direct X 9 and on normal settings. Played well though and looked pretty good, though not quite up to everyone elses screenshots.
Musics a big plus, really does set the mood.
1 of my major complaints which I think has been mentioned before, is the pulse rifle. I know I "should learn 2 aim noob!". But for me it seems to lack a lot of punch compared to the last 2 games, I spent most of the game using a sniper rifle/shotgun combo.

I went through the game 1 mission at a time, Marine/Alien/Predator rather then completing 1 campaign at a time. So once I saw the queen get killed in the Marine campaign, I KNEW "6" would turn into the new queen.
I was expecting to play the last Alien mission as the queen, which would spice things up nicely, so finaly after watching "6" turn into a queen and get taken up to the human ship I expected a full on carnage mission! Only to find out that was the last mission...

Really enjoying this game. Very atmospheric and great graphics imho (DirectX9 everything on max settings) - Thumbs-up from me! The Facehugger is pretty well done too... much better quality than expected.

Another working day (the third since it was dispatched from hmv) and still no sign of my Hunter Edition... I was really hoping to play on my floating day off tomorrow.
I've been working my way through all the special edition version of the "Alien(s)" and "Alien v Predator" films over the past week, as a build-up to to the game arriving. Now thinking of ordering Predator 1 and 2 to complete the collection, while someone posted a link to movie set pics of the new Predator film in production.
Hunter Edition owners: Who delivered your hmv parcel? Royal Mail or a courrier?

They messed up the skin codes, I got a code for "Call of Duty Classic" XBLA game instead.
