I hope it's an ST for that, mine's about £250 this year!
Eugh. Got the fun of all this in the next few weeks. I wonder if any classic companies will beat bells quote for a 18 year old with an accident to his name. (£624! fully comp!)
My MR2 insurance was much cheaper than the S2000.Flux f.t.w sub £500 for me this year.
Not looking forward to my renewal.
Anyone have any idea how much quotes are affected by an accident whereby liability is still in dispute (likely to go 50/50)? Can't really see any options to state an 'unsolved' claim.![]()

no it not a ST I wish it was. It just a Zetec with 18in Alloys, 2.0tdci
newer cars are more expensive though, mine was £525 on a mk2 with only 1 year ncb, this is tpft, his is no doubt fully comp on a car worth around 9K.

I am so pleased this thread came up ive been wanting to have a good moan about car insurance companies.
My daughter has been learning to drive and we got the insurance for approx £1200 as she has her own little car too... she has about 3 months left before she is due for renewal and has passed her test last week.. A test to say that she is competent enough to drive on the roads alone...yes...
Well according to insurance company she has to pay another £384 within 28 days because she has passed her test and by herself in the car and is classed at a higher risk......rubbish absolute ******* rubbish.. shes passed her test to drive safely and now she gets punished for doing so...Further more the £384 is for the remaining 3 months on her policy god knows what its going to be like for 12 months..
Anyway thought you should know just incase anyone finds themselves in the same position we are..
Ironic how it's all part of the same company.
I love car insurance at the moment ....
£530 on a clio trophy at 22 with a tiny excess and guaranteed no claims protection
