I am NOT happy with GAME. Received two emails at around half four this evening to let me know they were preparing to dispatch the order and my account would be debited once the items were sent. Two hours later I get another email saying my preorder has been CANCELLED with no explanation as to why.
Obviously in the furious state I was in I hastily emailed them back but I don't expect a response until tomorrow afternoon. Checked their website and it appears that it was rejected because the details they've got stored on their system don't match up to the ones on my card - understandable, I did only recently move house but unfortunately it appears when I changed the details on game's website it didn't save - upon further investigation our house number apparently "does not exist with this post code" likely because it's a new build.
Now pre-ordered it again and that seems to be going through, doubt I'll get it before this time next week now though; but what has really annoyed me is that they were b****y quick to cancel the order but I'm yet to see my £40's worth of Reward Points I used on the transaction to be refunded to me - which I made very clear in my email I am unsatisfied with.
If they don't turn up by the end of tomorrow the GAME store in Norwich will be getting a visit on Wednesday
