Its got nothing to do with Crouch, we're playing a 4-4-2 now, they aren't actually that good, making us look bad doesn't make them a truly great team. Not at all bad, but not great, they've also clearly been shattered for the past 30 minutes.
We'd have been better the entire game if we started in a 4-4-2, and if someone told Gerrard to stay left, which he's somewhat doing now, but still entirely zero threat down the left because he won't stay far enough out to the left. I can't remember a single attack down the left involving him so far.
Getting a goal back against Egypt does not equal ability to be great against Brazil. Have to see how much energy Egypt have towards the end, if they are saving energy, or get even more tired. They haven't done really anything since about 35minutes into this game.
