I have recieved 90 days notice from my employers of me being made redundant
- I'm not overly bothered about it to be blunt, I am an HGV driver and I work at that depot under contract. Obviously, when the depot closes, the contract ends and no work for me.
Thankfully, I'm an experienced driver with a clean licence, so I'm pretty sure I won't have too much of a problem gaining another job.
The guys I do feel for are the many unqualified warehouse staff there, Tesco is one of the biggest employers in Middlewich and a lot are going to struggle to obtain more work.
What am I entitled to as per redundancy? - I'm asking here as I am on holiday this week and have not attended any of the meetings held about this - I did not even know about it until yesterday.
A few mates have mentioned £380 for every year served (4 years in my case iirc)
Its a while since I was last in this situation, so any advice / thoughts appreciated.
Ta.

More than 400 jobs could be axed after Tesco announced it is to close its distribution centre in Cheshire.
The supermarket giant started a 90-day consultation on Monday over the future of 426 workers at its Middlewich site.
