im getting really sick and tired of racking up thousands of points for the stupid peice of rubbish to crash to desktop with no errors just before we win. Ever since they "patched" it to fix something loads of us are getting this its a bloomin farce after several hours fine it just dies. They better get this sorted.
 
Why did I prefer the beta to retail, something just doest feel right atm for me, not having any fun at all with it :(

In regards to sniping, each rifle has vastly different damage and bullet dip when aiming at range. To start with, stick with the m24 and aim very slightly infront of people at all but extreme ranges (aka half the level shots where you need to aim about 3 inches above the player to hit them lol)

Another tip with sniping is spot the target you want to hit at range first, then aim around the diamond icon on their head lol. Usually get a headshot out of this aiming style at anything upto around 300 metres range.

Another thing I'd add is if your using a sniper rifle, dont just camp 1 spot, move up with your squad and spot for them and cover flag/MCOM captures and you'll really mount up the points per game. Getting a high amount of kills is easy with a sniper rifle if you pick your position well and know the typical enemy sniper points but getting a vast amount of points needs abit of finese!

Stick with the M24 until you get the GOL magnum as both have good scopes (cross instead of the dragnov style) plus very similar aiming so only 1 learning curve to go through
 
I was having a good round on a conquest map loads of people round the flag so being a sniper with shotgun placed some C4 at their feet and blew em sky high then bang

Same sigh, running around as a Medic :p rushing and had 24 - 1 then it CTD ON THE LAST MCOM station - it was armed and about to blow too.... /rage.

I get that a lot, i was crouched round a corner, enemy came round it, two shots from my saiga straight into him, i get knifed and die, im thinkin wtf and this was in hardcore, and loads more times its happened, couldnt hit anyone earlier with an m60, i died 16 times and killed 3 in that round lol , so i swapped teams and then my shots were regestering fine, somethings not right somewhere.
I suggest next time you feel its not regestering your shots, swap sides and see if it makes a difference

What exactly does the 'spot' equipment do? I've not noticed it do anything at all.

Thanks for the tips, i could never hit anything sniping, but that tip of aiming for your spot triangle works a treat and ive just had a couple games where i finished positive! Thats an achievment for me btw :D Although most of my score still came from spotting.

Although i am finding i prefer the SVD scope to the regular one.

iv noticed that too
i used 2 ak47 clips on some guy, close range and he pulls out his handgun 2 shots n im dead, cant understant it at all
 
I have something better, shooting a guy from range with an assualt rifle, hit him with the nade launcher then empty 2 clips of ammo getting about half of them hitting and he kills me with a pistol.

Yeahey good to hear mate!

Frenchy baby your missing the point here, its quite the opposite.

We honestly dont intentionally kick OCUK guys, but its impossible for us to know who's from ocuk and who isn't. The server is full all the time. Its quite the opposite when it comes to kicking, we kick randoms to make room for any1 form OCUK that wants to get on. I'm sure you'd do the same.

If we didn't kick people then our members and OCUK guys will have to go else where, i think thats the reason our server is so nuts!
