I didn't buy TDU until a few months after release, so I didn't know of the delays that they had in releasing it. Hopefully they'll sort it out for the release of TDU2. They have been very quiet with the info for the game though, so perhaps now that they've decided to make news about it available, it might be ready soon.

It's a placeholder, it means nothing. Every new game release we have people saying this.

It's had a place holder for a while now, just saying that a date has now been added to it, which happens to be close to what has been quoted by Atari. Sorry

It is sounding quiet good!

Yes, Hawaii returns in Test Drive Unlimited 2. The entire island is fully traversable and has been modified to keep the locale fresh for players that sunk time into the original game. I was amazed that the developers would take the time to build a whole new island and then include a reworked version of the original game world as well. Talk about an ample supply of content...

So do I! I played it the other night, the handling is pretty bad compared to what I'm used to now, but it was still fun to blast along in my F430.

After reading that article, I am now looking forward to this game even more. It seems like they've added a heck of a lot of multiplayer options, things that I wished were in TDU but weren't. Definitely going to be pre-ordering this beauty
