I think for people who aren't committed to one side of an issue or another there can be good debate or at least a variety of interesting opinions to consider but for many the debate has effectively already taken place before anyone else expresses a viewpoint so there can be no reconsideration of their view. Which makes it all rather circular and pointless as neither side will give any ground.

Or if that wasn't what you meant then my other response would be "oh yes there is" in a panto stylee.

OcUk are possibly the best forums in existence imho. You can talk about Overclocking, or hop into the other forums and discuss random stuff. It's quite amazing. Whenever I have a dilemma or a question, I seem to come here and get solid advice - no matter what it's about. It's like a little family :P
