whats your resting heart rate?

Tried a second time it's now at 98  thuogh I do have a heart condition, and my heart beat speed changes depending on the point in my breath, breathing in to full capacity makes it race, breathing out a lot slows it right down, but completely exhaling makes it speed up again >.<

Sat in the office and its at 76 checked 3 times same result. Theres no way i have the energy to run around the office and check it again! I may strain myself and open my drawer for a tea bag but thats about it!

When I was on ECG not to long ago mine was 60 ish, but I have been suffering with my heart for a few months with it being out of rythum.

Nope lol, went to the docs to get it checked out yesterday he said and i qoute you are "super fit" lol.

I recently lost 10 stone and went from 19.5stone (Heart rate was 97bpm) to 9.5 Stone and now i work out intense cardio 2 hours a day :P.

Oh and im 23

Hmmmmmm....

72, it seems. Had it done properly at the doctor a while back and remember it being about that, so probably right. No idea about it after exercise - that'd mean doing exercise to find out.

...On the basis of that statement, I'd guess it'll be fairly high :p

Mine is 45 bpm sat here. Lower than I expected to be honest...

I've always had a relatively low resting heart rate - even when I was massively unfit and 4st overweight it was still below 60bpm. I'm reasonably fit right now (been doing lots of cardio to shift weight these past two months), but I'm hardly a "highly-tuned athlete".

Mine was ~60 but after 9 months of no exercise it went up to ~70 :o
Back to ~60 now despite doing little exercise.

60 here. Heart rate doesn't go above 130 when exercising.
What kind of exercise? Inline skating I can sit ~160 (max without burning out rapidly) or 180+ and up to 190 pushing it.

In the past couple of weeks I got on my bike and after a few rides my heart rate doesn't go over 130 before my legs burn out.

That and my knee has started aching :( back to the skates me thinks!

88, but I smoke, drink and suffer under a lot of stress. Plus I'm overweight and have a history of drug use.
Hardly surprising it's so high.

Only redeeming feature is regular excercise and healthy diet.
