*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Never fear I is here

Go to the Android Market and download Sound manager

once it is loaded up press menu >>> Vibrate settings

You should see a field to select the vibrate on notifications, turn this to Vibrate whenever possible

Job done

Awesome, thanks for that. Its been doing my head in!

Couldn't agree more. It's like facebook updates for those who have nothing to to do other than sit there and wait for someone to update them on their life and what they have done in the past few minutes :p

Stil waiting for the call.

LOL, really hope that was a joke!

Has anyone been checking the latest deals on these? Looking to order one this week and going direct through a network provider is proving to be more expensive than other 3rd party sellers i.e. Phones4U, MobilePhonesDirect

The best I have seen is:

MobilePhonesDirect.co.uk, free phone, T-Mobile 300mins unlimited texts & internet, 18 months £25p/m

I can't find this deal on their website, do you have a link please? (trust)

Thanks

has anyone else noticed a sort of knocking noice while listening to music/audio books? it's not noticeable during the song, but as the song ends and the next one begins you can hear it. listening to audiobooks the sound is more noticable. I hear it while listening through headphones(currently using shure se210, but have bought the se420 which I haven't started using yet), not noticed the sound through the phone speakers.

:( Also got the email from Vodafone saying it's going to be delayed and "should" get my order before the end of the week! God damn, stupid ash lol.

Pen66, don't forget about Quidco (on the Phones4u deal at least, gone for it myself & gotten £35 back)

Hopefully they'll still have stock :)

Ah nice one thanks.

There's an error in that post, it meant to read: "300mins, 300 texts & unlimited internet" for £25, if you're still interested in that deal it's on there, just make sure to select "view all plans" whilst on the Desire contract plans.

I haven't heard anything. Was listening to music this morning on the way into work and was waiting for it after reading your post.

I was looking for a reasonably cheap phone a month or so ago and some folks on here recommended the Nokia 5230, unfortunately I got to fiddle with some HTC handsets in the shop and ended up ordering a Desire on contract, DOH! It's better live up to my expectations...

Does anyone know if the HTC Desire on Orange via Dial a phone is none branded?

Their offer is really good, but I can't speak to anyone via their contact number.
