*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Haha same, who did you order with?

Company called Handtec(Hopefully not a competitor!), picked it up for £387.15, sim free, cheapest I could find, and I don't want/need to enter another contract, as I'm currently 1/2 way though my current contract.

Should be dispatched today, delivered by 12 tomorrow, can't wait :D lol.

Awesome, I can't wait for mine, waiting on Vodafone to contact me on the dispatch tho. Don't know if they are waiting for stock though as when I rang on Friday they said it would most likely be here today but nothing yet and I've gotta head to uni now.

I would go with Orange, but their handsets are branded which really annoys me, defeats the purpose of android... I have read that GMail/GTalk doesn't work either?

Get it from CPW, they have unbranded ones. I got my unbranded Desire from them.

They got back to me 2 hours after I contacted them. They refused to offer me a deal because I'm already a Vodafone customer - and directed me to my local Vodafone store.

Got back to me again saying that their is such a high demand that I'm on teh list to be called back in the next few days.

Found the offer before you guys on here and still they put off calling me. If it wasn't such a good offer I might just go with the P4U one.

Don't get me started on the ridiculousness that is how much twitter seems to be integrated into daily life these days..

Couldn't agree more. It's like facebook updates for those who have nothing to to do other than sit there and wait for someone to update them on their life and what they have done in the past few minutes :p

Stil waiting for the call.

Just wait until large organisations start to advertise for 'twitter updaters'.

That day will come.

Agreed. Once people flock to a social network or a website, or a way of using technology then there will always be businesses desperate to be the first/best to engage their potential customers there.

OK, so random little issue with my phone, it wont vibrate when I get a text, it does when someone calls though. Ive gone through all the notification setting in Hancent and the phones own settings, and its all 'ON'. Its just a bit annoying when your in a bar or whatever and can't hear the phone. Any ideas?

This happened to me. I had to do a factory reset which resolved everything.

I believe this is the only thing that solves it as i was on a wild chase for a solution as well.

Never fear I is here

Go to the Android Market and download Sound manager

once it is loaded up press menu >>> Vibrate settings

You should see a field to select the vibrate on notifications, turn this to Vibrate whenever possible

Job done

I wouldn't count on a 3rd party imo. I'd do a hard reset as it's something that should be working, but isn't you know.
