DC2 Type R owners please :)

Not really. There is 0 real-world difference. Last 'meet' I went to around the triangle the 2 JDM's were trailing off a bit, on twisties and open roads..one of them was totally stripped out.

Of course it depends on any mods that are done and mechanical history etc but they were standard apart from 1 had a Spoon N1.

Just get a car as close to standard-spec as you can find, whether you're going for UK or JDM. :)

looks like a nice car but if thats the kind of jogging pant crowd it attracts, is it really the car for you?

So one photo is taken with chavs around it, therefore all must attract chavs?

Several owners of them on here and they aren't surrounded by chavs :)

dont get the one with the free chav crowd from page 2.

I think it's just that one that's ugly. Silver body and wheels looks crap, drug dealer tints look crap. Ride height is really high, has someone fitted shopping cart Civic suspension on it? The front splitter is missing also. Interior and engine bay look run down.

A nice one looks good.

I prefer the white/yellow with the jdm (80's Accord :p ) front, and the red/black in ukdm

Insurance is generally cheaper on the UK models, performance wise, they're practically the same, I think the 96jdm is considered the quickest..

Rubbish sweeping generalisation is rubbish.

im sorry, no offence intended.

So which one are you?

these are clearly great cars, i was looking id get one semi modified with perhaps new springs/shocks front and rear strut, plus CAI and exhaust. shouldnt cost much more than a stocker but would save u a packet in doing these mods yourself at a later date.

no i asked if it attracts that crowd, is it the car for the OP? clearly it was quite tongue in cheek given my first sentance.

i have also stated time and again that i think its a great car, whereas you just keep over reacting to a harmless comment dragging this out for far longer than necessary but thats fine.

Please tell me where it is tongue and cheek and the only question in there is 'is it really the car for you'?
