Seriously though, I still think I would go for the 5850 and clock it to a 5870. If the 470 was the same price and run at similar temps then it would be a decent card.
At least in Denmark the GTX 470 is in the same price point as HD5870 and since it competes pretty well with HD5870 I don't think it's that bad pricing. Also when taking into account that the GTX 470 uses less wattage than GTX275/280/285 and isn't as loud does make even more attractive.

And in upcoming DX11 games the GTX 470 does a pretty good job compared to HD5850 I'd say

Also with newer drivers the cards will mature just like the HD5xxx series which got like a 20% performance boost overall since the very first release drivers.
