HTC/T-Mobile (Not sure which) have just pushed out an over the air update to Version 1.15.110.11

Anyideas whats new?

Phones feels even fasterrrrrr...its been overclocked to 2ghz lol:p

Seriously though, i havent seen any changes or anything new...mind you i dont know if mine automatically updated or it came with that version above....just tried to update it and said its already running the latest software.

Thanks guys. Have just requested my PAC code from O2. (After waiting 15mins on hold before I could speak to anyone.)

If Vodafone don't call before Wednesday, I'm going to take up an offer with Dialaphone.

That's my plan too, but knowing my luck that deal will end too :( Just missed out on the cheap T-mobile plans, just missed out on the Phones4U deal and have probably missed this twitter deal.

If I didn't have a Nexus to play with already I'd be ****ed :p

Got mine this morning, cheers Kearney for the emulator links, time to make chumps more jealous :D

Phone is sick :)

No, CPW instead :)

Sod waiting another week while all you chumps roll around in your fancy pants phones :)

Also you can't search for a contact if you are synched to an exchange mail server without adding them to your contacts list! You can search for the name in the global address list, but to email them you have to first add them to your contact list which then means if you send a text they show up as possible recipients meaning work people are invading your phone book!

I only have the Magic but can't you add that contact to a group such as 'work email' and for your main contacts just in a group called 'contacts' or what ever.

Hi guys just taken the offer from Vodaphone about a week ago, tuesday to be correct and the offer is 600 minutes/UNL texts + 300 mins and 500mb internet due to internet offer deal (would this be each month? advise needed)
it would've been £30pm but my cousin is getting me discounted as she works for Vodaphone so im looking at £23pm.

Now the problem is they don't have none in stock and are awaiting fresh stock to arrive in Britain via shipping but how long is it gonna take lol they did say tuesday but my greatest fear is that shes talking outta her a*** and im looking a lot longer.

Would be good to hear what you were told and when your handset is likely to arrive.

Thanks David

Those dialaphone deals look fantastic if the Vodafone twitter thing, as expected, turns out to be a lot of hot air. Only trouble is they are on Orange - how does the Orange 3G network compare coverage wise? Are the Orange desires locked?

Presumably if I do the odd bit of browsing with Orange via my laptop and phone it'll come out of my inclusive data as per Voda?

Only reason I'm waiting to see what Vodafone offers is because I have the assumption that they have the better 3G network.

Orange store Desires are branded, not sure about these ones tho :/

The 3G coverage seems fine on a friends iPhone, getting similar speeds to Vodafone in the centre of Cardiff (Not that that's much help to you :p ) both are 500MB FUB too

Worst thing about Orange? Their customer service. Just pray you NEVER have an issue, their stores will tell you to call customer services, where you will die of boredom while on hold :(

I'm still holding out hope on this twitter deal, I'd much rather be on Vodafone personally, but I'm not paying £10 extra per month for that privilege

had a play with tethering on my dad's netbook, inititally didn't work but that was due to me not installing htc sync first. anyone know will the tethering still work if I was to uninstall htc sync, or does the tethering need it to stay installed?

I need to ring up customer service of my parents banks mobile phone insurance to get the phone registered, currently have my touch HD registered(it's a joint account so can have 2 phones, so mine and my mum's as my dad took out cpw insurance for his iphone). just hope I don't have any issues in the 21days from registering, if I'd registered shortly after getting the phone it'd be covered by now or just a few days to go(got the phone on 30th march).

Tons of conflicting advice on this - Should the battery be left to fully drain (till dead) a few times or is it just topping up frequently? I can't tell what is the correct answer, and half of the sites I have read say one thing and the other say something else!! Anyone?

Just charge it to full first time round, the phone stops charging once it reaches 100% anyway like all phones and just trickle charges (?).

I reached the app install limit today after installing several large apps, Google Earth and Navigon alone are 20~ MB each!

Apps2SD needs to come fast ;)
