I've got the same/less apps installed than I did on my Hero - but about 20-30mb less free storage?
Will probably look into A2SD I think, never felt I needed it on my Hero but I might on this.

Had two handsets ordered via the eForum team, which I think count as over the phone orders rather than online orders, and they were DPD :cool:
 
Just folded and ordered from Mobiles.co.uk, went for the £25, 24mnth, 300mins, unl txts, 500mb data, 8 mnths half price + 50 cashback from quidco. Not too shaby I don't think. Should get it monday if all goes well.

Do they deliver on Mayday? Hope you have more success than I did with them.
 
Oh yeah also,

I don't like HTC Sync, I don't need to have it on my desktop anyway though because once the driver is installed you can uninstall Sync but I found HTC Sync runs several individual processes in the background which is a bit unneeded to be honest even with the system tray icon right click > exited.
 
I caved.
I upgraded in-store at T-mobile. Not a great deal but I have it now which has gone some way to cheering me up.
600 minutes, 500 texts, 3Gb data, 120 mins US/canada calls for £30pm on 18 months.
I'll cancel my online order which slipped from delivery on the 4th or May to the 11th anyway.
 
Can the Desire be tethered with OSX 10.6.3?

Also I did ask previously but not clearly answered, can I sync multiple exchange accounts?

Just cancelled my upgrade with 3, they still won't make me any offer on the Desire, they did try to offer me an iPhone for £130 @ £20ppm but as the mrs has an iPod touch it doesn't really interest me. Got my PAC code so I'm shopping :p

Has anyone taken a "twitter" deal with the Vodaphone? all they've offered so far is

18 months, free HTC Desire, 600 minutes, unlimited texts and internet at £30 per month.
24 months, free HTC Desire, 600 minutes, unlimited texts and internet at £25 per month.

Yeah, I got 18 months, free Desire, 600mins, Unlim texts and data, 25/month

TBH though, I asked for that at the start of the call and he said it was the easiest negotiation he's ever done which made me think I should have said 20 quid :(

Does anyone have an idea on disabling sending MMS messages? or atleast how to have it so that when I select a group from the message app, it doesn't use their e-mail addresses instead of mobile numbers, which sends as an mms?

I wouldnt be too bothered if the mms were included in the Simplicity, but they're 17p odd. Not cool.
