Try dialaphone, they did the same offer last week, probably still doing it this week :) 300mins 3000 texts iirc

Out of interest i'm wondering how much surfing do you do a month?

I'm worries that 500mb a month won't be enough for me and don't want any extra charges though most seem to only offer around 500mb a month.

Thanks.

Not much at all, bit of Facebook, emails, reading RSS feeds/news apps occasionally. I hardly ever use YouTube or anything to stream video. I'd class myself as a light user if I had to. I try to avoid downloading apps and things over the network.

I'm worried about going over too, but I don't think I will get close to it. I got suggested an application called NetSentry or something earlier to keep an eye on your usage and set a limit for yourself.

So whats the verdict on cases and charging docks for these then?

I'm after a decent, high quality, nice looking (Come on, its gotta sit on my desk which is otherwise populated with nice things) desktop docking station, and also a decent protective case. Plenty of allegedly 'genuine HTC' leather cases on Ebay - are these fakes?

Which bits and bobs do you guys recommend?

I bought the tuf luv case from mobilefun, it's made of saddleback leather & looks great........it has no hole for the camera though.

No probs really, I'll punch a hole in it when I'm back at work.

There’s still not much choice and nothing that I REALLY like aesthetically so I'll wait a few more weeks.

I have the Android case for the N1 coming so far, very paranoid about dropping this phone its annoying!

I’ve seen a cradle at mobiles which has an additional battery holder which isn't too bad.

I think I will order a screen protector soon as the glass screen is a little sticky for me sometimes like Spawn mentioned earlier.

No doubt because of 32/64-bit MAPI incompatibilities. Basically MS are providing no interoperability or "thunking" layer for this so no 32-bit MAPI client can talk to a 64-bit MAPI server, such as Outlook x64. Until HTC write a 64-bit version of HTC Sync, I suspect you'll be stuck.

my phone syncs with exchange 2007 64 bit fine?

hey leoncc..did you notice the note the ebay hk seller added about the neoprene cases? could take afew weeks due to the backlog there :( i bought a chaeap mofi at first which to be honest isn't the best looking/fit but i liked the soft inner lining and bead closure works well. i've been paranoid about dropping/damaging due to my work and also have a nintendo sized 'hard' case over the mofi for throwing in the car for work/worry-free-ness!!

Dcmugen on the bay has brought out some gelli cases that are actually made for the desire. They look pretty good, so I ordered one. His ID is dcmugen88, I won't post a link encased the bay is a competitor :)

The Bay isnt a competitor as ocuk dont sell mobile phones....

I quite like the look of that case, esp in brown - http://www.i-nique.com/detail.asp/cn=2/c=521/sku=5055205269412

For camera - I believe you just fold the case over at a point below the camera lens to expose the camera when you want to take a pic. If so then thats quite good as it will protect the lens ffrom dirt etc.... See here - http://images.mobilefun.co.uk/graphics/misc/24293-2.jpg Notice the ability to "fold the case over about 1/3 of the way down ??

Can you post your thoughts on this case when it arrives please ??

sounds ok, im a fussy ***t though, redemption = horrible, and 2 years with the same phone, il no doubt hate it way before that :D

Case-wise, I'm using a genuine HTC pouch case for the HD2, which I picked up for 7 quid and fits the Desire perfectly.

What I'd really like is something like the SwitchEasy iPhone cases, but for the Desire - but no one seems to have tapped this market yet.
