HTC Sync not working with Outlook 2010 x64 =[

No doubt because of 32/64-bit MAPI incompatibilities. Basically MS are providing no interoperability or "thunking" layer for this so no 32-bit MAPI client can talk to a 64-bit MAPI server, such as Outlook x64. Until HTC write a 64-bit version of HTC Sync, I suspect you'll be stuck.

Didnt you order after me?

THANKS VODAFONE, LOVE YOU LONG TIME.

To be brutally honest, I've heard more friends moaning about Vodafone than any other network of late.

Aren't you entitled to cancel any contract you've signed up to within 7 days? I know this law applies to new mobile contracts but not sure about "upgrades". Even though you're upgrading, as you're entering into a new contract I suspect this law would apply.

To be honest I do not think the next iphone will bring much more to the party, other than speed/ram/screen bump

I was tempted to wait, but as my reasons above, I am going to pick up a sim free Desire

Kimbie

I think it might be worth waiting for and seeing what the new iPhone OS has to offer.

I'm really just looking forward to having a better camera again, having the iPhone 3G has been dire (everything else about it was perfect though for me).

A few new features everyone else has had for years, a massive fanfare, and even more people who have to tell you that a photo they took and uploaded to the internet was 'Taken on my iPhone' I should imagine.

It's pretty much a smartphone for the mass market, which is great for normal people but if you've got half a brain you are better off with something like the Desire.

To be fair what i've used my iPhone for in terms of surfing the web, Facebook, News and E-Mail it's been absolutely fine.

I've had it for a good while now though and it was my first smart phone so perhaps I am missing out, i've had nothing to compare it to yet.

There will always be something around the corner, its you're choice.

I've never had an iPhone but I can honestly say that the Desire is an amazing handset and you won't be dissapointed imo.

Android is the next best thing and will be for a while!

Doesnt hurt to wait and see what the new iphone will bring to the table...its only a couple of months away.

Whether or not the new iphone is worth it is another question entirely but at the moment the Desire is probably the best handset out there.

Spoken like someone who has never used an iphone and hasn't a clue about what it can or cant do.

Whats the cheapest amount i have to pay for a Desire on £20 month that comes with unlimited txt, net and around 300 mins if its even possible at all. Thanks.

Hmm what's the safest way to clean the screen of fingerprints? I've got Mr Sheen in one hand and a monitor wipe in the other and I'm too scared to use either!

Wish they'd hurry up and release the official screen protector.

Slowly getting better at typing on my Desire, no way near as fast as my BB yet but I will give it a few months this time to see if I improve, the Desires digital keyboard is just over a centimetre less in width against the Bold so I'm still missing the keys sometimes but the spell checker corrects this most of the time.

Also every time you select a word from the suggestions does the Desire remember this and suggest that word the next time?

Thanks for the reply, I think I'll give them a ring at some point then.

I can't see the 500mb data limit being an issue for me at all, I'm currently on an iPhone with Orange (PAYG) and I get 250mb per month and I'm yet to hit that limit.

Out of interest i'm wondering how much surfing do you do a month?

I'm worries that 500mb a month won't be enough for me and don't want any extra charges though most seem to only offer around 500mb a month.

Thanks.

Zagg shields arrived.
A little thicker than I thought but still very thin, seems a lot tougher than I thought it would be too.

First one went on with a few bubbles, took a few attempts but looks fine.
Second one (missus's) went far better.

I went witht he total coverage ones and the only qualm I have is it makes the back look too glossy, the rest you barely notice.

Give Smart Keyboard a try - I found it orders of magnitude easier to type with than the standard keyboard.
