Thing is, you can complain about the places being open 15 hours. What if they work shift work and get down there to vote and either the polling station runs out of ballot papers (HAS happened) or get stuck in a queue. Hardly fair.

Also, there is a scandal of polling stations being open for 10-15 minutes longer? How is this fair on other people turned away?!?

People turn up to vote on their democratic rights and are turned away. I feel this is unfair in these circumstances.

It depends how long they've been there really. Are you saying that even though the voting hours are 7-10, anybody who doesn't vote in the first 14 hours doesn't deserve a vote? I don't agree with you.

Say an average working shift is 7 - 8 hrs. You have plenty of time to either get there early and vote if you work later hours or get there later in the day if you work early.

I work 9 - 5. I got down to polling station by 7pm give me 3hrs to make my vote.

I doubt very much that elderly woman moaning on the TV works a crazy shift that she cant get down there 2 or 3 hours before the closing time.

Just people being lazy gits. This country is full of them. Personal opinion screw them.

lol "through no fault of not turning up earlier enough in the fricking day"!!!

Its your own fault retards! You had times on when you should vote!!!
