Let me get this right:&You do know that Cameron is the leader of the Tory party, don't you

I really can't believe that Cameron needs to get the support of 75% of the Labour membership for anything he wants to do.

Typo I meant to say Cons but really it's Lib Dem that has to vote and get 75%

I just heard that Cameron and Clegg are going to be the first gay "marriage", and show their dedication to the cause, following reclassication of civil partnerships.

angry  at nick clegg, just goes to show posh school breeds tories!

May this con/lib coalition annoy many more like you.... Who would have thunk it, millions vote lib-dem out of some pathetic "waaa posh boy" grudge and it's their party which gifts the Conservatives power. Priceless :D

I have to say I hope it's a hung Parliament every time from now on, it's been quite refreshing to see the parties having to negotiate and formulate a compromise to form a government and it seems like on a number of issues the 'better' policies might win through. And not to mention the Tory tidings of economic collapse in the event of a hung Parliament have proven to be absolute rubbish unsurprisingly.

And of course, the posts and threads on here have been epically more entertaining than it would have been with an outright victory. :D

I don't quite get the point about the LibDems 'giving' Conservatives power. Let's be honest, the only realistic options were a Tory minority government, or a Tory/LibDem coalition and it looks like the LibDems have wrung their fair share of concessions out of the Tories in exchange for their support.

Two people who are well placed to get a hold of this information have told me that Lib Dems have dropped the amnesty plans. Married couples tax break also to go.

Will be on Sky News any moment now.

The one who told me this:
Inheritance Tax Cut has been dropped. £10k personal tax threshold is in.
Is still adamant, but no other confirmation yet.
