Fair play to Brown for stepping down.

What ever your view on him he does have those leadership qualities about him.

Perhaps if he kept to the serious man and didn't try those silly smiles.

Deserves the applause he recieved.

I can't quite see him for the amount of poo flowing out of his mouth.

Didn't want the job for the prestige, pull another one you power crazed fool.

fairer, no other party has made the gap between poor and rich wider.

my point is as a life long libdem voter and member of the party, and considering most of their campaigning is to keep the tories out and take their posh seats, its a disgrace that they are now jumping into bed with posh toff boy and his bunch of ****s.

What is it with this "posh toff boy" BS, do you know what schooling Clegg got? £24k per year that school costs now afaik.

As many of you are aware I'm sure, I am a Conservative, but I feel that Gordon Brown has just resigned with dignity and honour as befits an outgoing Prime Minister.

I am unashamed to say that I found his speech moving and he has risen dramatically in my estimation of him as a man, if not a politician.

Good speech. I really do think that Brown and Blair Loved this country and had Potential to do great things. Shame that Brown hated public speaking and thus didnt 'woo' the general public.

Things may of been different if he was slimey and had a smug face as DC.
Oh well, time to look forward to the CRUNCH that is life in the next few years.
