Is there any way to stop the Sense clock from updating each time you go back to the home screen, it seems stupid that it moves to the current time.

It seems silly to show the correct time ??

I am obviously not getting what you mean as showing the right time is what most ppl want...

I think he is referring to the animation that occurs on the clock when you go to the home screen. The clock hands start both at 12 then swing round to the correct time - it does this every time.

I live in Selly Oak during termtime and nearish Solihull when I'm back home 'home', and I couldn't get any signal on campus, or in my house at home. And it was pretty patchy everywhere else. In the centre of B'ham it was pretty good, but I guess that is to be as expected.
I'll echo that. I'm in Hall Green on the border with Solihull and the T-Mobile service is very patchy here.

I just got this phone this afternoon and got it up nd running but have a couple of questions. First of i contacted T-Mobile and gave them my O2 PAC Code, they said I should leave the phone in this country for the duration of the phone number switching over.I am off to St Lucia tomorrow morning for a couple of weeks, I assume if I take the phone with me the number wont transfer?

Secondly the phone constantly has a "Safe Mode" sign showing in the bottom left hand corner though I am able to make calls etc. What does this mean?

Considering selling my iPhone on the bay and picking up one of these, had a play with one and they seem very nippy indeed, what offerings are there for Satnav on these bad boys?

Night clock app..is nice!

hey.. have you desireables seen the kaloer night clock with alarm..(similar to the black/white on the phone already) beauty of the kaloer is can be set up so the screen won't time out and looks great on your bedside table. Ive got digital blue numerals..looks really sweet!:D

oh and until i get a decent cradle i've put it in a car holder stuck down with the sucker!

Google Nav pulls the mapping data down during the initial routing calculation, as long as you stay on route it won't pull any mapping data down so you don't need to have 3G/HSDPA enabled.

satnav?

CoPilot Live 8 is fine for a paid app and cheap too.

CoPilot is quite highly rated, but I'd only be buying a satnav app if it installed all the maps on the SD card, rather than pulling them from the cloud like Google Nav does :)

Great I use CoPiot 8 for my iPhone and it does a good enough job for me, looking at what I can selling my iPhone for now on the bay and pick a brand new Desire up for on the bay I should be able to do with and it won't cost me a penny, there or there abouts :D

Might have another muck about with the boss handset tomorrow then make my mind up!

Thanks guys ;)

dialaphone just delivered my orange. unbranded + unlocked.

I really hope mine comes the same!
They must still be selling out stupidly fast. I can't find any Orange contracts on Dialaphone any more. Glad i ordered mine when i did.
I hope there are no problems with mine as it is still processing but then delivery was supposed to only be monday.
