*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

So I'm going to Spain in a few weeks, just wondering what I should do. Do I take my Orange sim with me and use it out there or buy a payg 1 there and use that.

Any advice?

As said googlemap is ok if you stay on your route. I use copilot on my iphone, waiting to payday and will pick it up for android.

But I do have a problem where I have lost the data connection icon in the top bar, i use to have the H or G with the little arrows, but I do not have that any more.

Any idea where it went or what happened to it?

^^ You may be running in GSM only mode, check your mobile network settings?

You guys able to run the Linpck benchmark (find on Market) and post your results?

Will be interesting to see anyone with a Nexus One posting their results as I get

And Android Police are reporting FroYo on the N1 gets 37.5Mflops

See more info here + FroYo info.

Depends on how much Orange Roaming charge is, speak to them.

Just bought the android case from HK and the car holder that Khaaan! has bought. Both look like quality items and although my phone has been relatively safe I do worry that one day it will get dropped so want it to be safe.

Also the fact the car holder comes with a car charger solves my other requirement.

Multiple runs varies results but only marginal - expected in all benches I guess, had 7.1, 7.003 etc too!

Not rooted no, no plans to until 2.2.

Keep a hold of those scores for rerun after 2.2 (or root+flash!)

So how do you go about overclocking one, I presume you won't notice the difference.

No overclocking yet.
