If you have the backup to phone enabled then it does this on shutdown so its writing to the SD card. Disable this if you want a faster shutdown

7.21 highest on an OC Nexus, with an average around 7.1-7.16. I suspect that's mainly due to the OC more than anything else. I'm disappointed, I was expecting to trounce you guys

Also, watched Dr Who over lunch on beebplayer over wifi, battery has been off the charge for 9hrs 28minutes as of right now and is reading 67% left - very impressed!
Also, in the sunlight anyone notice with the screen off if you move it around various angles that there's a dot grid effect on the screen itself? It's obviously to do with the AMOLED but it reminds me of the aperture grill that you'd find on Flat CRT PC monitors back in the day. Pretty weird but cool all the same!

Also found the Nokia 5800 stand that I kept from when I had the 5800 and it's ever so useful for watching stuff on teh phone sideways instead of laying it on the table flat!

Amen!!! Getting kind of annoyed I cant watch videos on it yet... would have thought it would be nailed well before now.

Finally after waiting nearly a month i get the neoprene HTC case today lol...not a bad case but doesnt really fit too well to be honest.
Still waiting on the other neoprene case with the Android figure on it...hopefully that wont take a month to get here

Where is the best place to buy one of these sim free? I did a quick google search and it brought up a well known auction site with someone selling them for £265 unlocked..

Yup
I've been using it for a day now in the car and I find that in my car it wobbles on rough roads but then again most car mounts have as well and this is down to my car's combination of low profile tyres and sports suspension than anything else.
I'm going to have words with some of the guys at work downstairs see if they can fashion me a mount using industrial steel and then I can spray it black
