Anyone using the Ribble bike stand? I think I need one. I live in an apartment so can't give my bike a good wash down, I have to use a toothbrush and damp sponge/cloth to clean it and it takes ages. And sitting on the floor kills my back.
I've seen a park tools one at £100 but it's a little too expensive, but the Ribble one looks ok.
Am just seeing if anyone has used one before.

I have this stand and I don't think you'll find a better stand. Not even for the money either, I cant fault it at all. Don't waste your money on the park stand.

Well I aint a girl, But will be ragging my Stiffee down the hills of Morzine in 8 weeks.
Cool, what dates?
Im going to be there from 10-17 july.
Wont have my bike with me tho :(
I'm there to see the TdF
Might look at renting a bike for a day or two if i get a chance.

I think I'm going to do an Alps trip next year, maybe to race the Mega Avalanche, maybe just to ride. This year is probably going to be trips to Whistler, Oregon and Colorado.

How does everyone here insure their bikes?

I'm looking at specialist companies and they are £300+, and home insurance will only cover for up to £1500 :/

I use Marks and Spencer for home insurance, you don't have to declare anything worth less than £4000 and bikes are covered in outbuildings (as is everything else).

(tu) park opens Friday.

Gonna try and get up there before I leave Whizzles, T minus 22 days :(

Booo, if it happens the trip won't be until early July.

Last I heard the place was still full of snow? Or is the lower half good enough to bike and just the upper still too snowy?
