Also if your looking into a new sub at a later date, I recommend BK Subs, they are a english manufacture and the subs are all hand built, but can only be ordered from the manufacture from their site http://www.bkelec.com/HiFi/Sub_Woofers.htm They range between £200 to £500. I bought the 2nd of the BK subs of their range, the XLS200, its amazing and build quality second to none.
Also if your using the amp purely for the pc, like I am with mine, just connect the sound up using digital or analog connections like you would for pc speakers
What about dust under a bed as most dust is under a bed...problems with a placement of a receiver now![]()
Yeah, I was going to just use an optical really

I dont know if dust would affect it over time, cos the vents in the amp are quite large. I have a wet n dry hoover with a blower, and what I would do is blow it through the vents with the hoover every few months.
ummm, If you put it on the shelf, just put some books, cd cases ect under the front of the shelf to level up the amp. But just make sure the shelf is nice and strong.
You could stand your monitor on your amp if its not going to block meny vents?
or or.... hehe
To make the amp more stable on the shelf,, just screw a extra strip of wood on to your shelf where the amp is going, to make it a tad deeper. Thats if you dont mind modding your desk![]()

It's a glass shelf held together with metal bars![]()

Bummer..... Well Im out of ideas..
The books under the front of the shelf seems to be you best bet, or to make it a tad tidier, you could use 3 small blocks of wood and bluetak them to the front of the shelf so they dont slip?
Don't want to bother with cutting blocks of wood to size
