Just curious...have you seen it?
Pestilence said:I've spoken to the director and the origins of the film weren't that he was trying to come up with the sickest thing he could. Rather, he had a personal saying years ago - when he really didn't like someone he'd mutter "I'd love to sew that guy to a trucker's ***hole". He said it so someone once and they said "Ew, that's sick! You should make that into a movie!"
So he did.
No, and I don't intend. I've read a couple of reviews and comprehensive enough summaries to know the "plot" and so on. I'm sure some will say I can't comment without seeing the film, but that's a pretty thin argument.
How can an argument be any less thin? There's a lot more to the impact of a finished film than the basic plot.

Pestilence said:One could understand if you've decided by reviews etc. that the content isn't to your liking, but to outright condemn the film as worthless without having laid eyes on it is tabloid hyperbolism.
Sounds... well... Horrific.
I kinda feel sick just from watching the trailer.
Each to their own but imo I don't understand how people can be entertained by this.
Everyone has different tastes tho... no pun intended.
I'm not claiming to be disgusted with the film itself, I'm claiming to be disgusted by the concept and mystified as to why such a concept merits a film.
If I know the content of the painting is disgusting, then it is reasonable for me to question why it should be painted, and why the allegedly very talented artist can't paint something more pleasant.
I would contend that there are far more worthful horror and suspense based films that manage without having such outrageously disgusting content.
I guess I'm one of only a few who can handle any film with any amount of wtf within!
How are you people watching this? Is it on DVD already?
