Its been pinched off the Nexus and is available for download as an .apk somewhere on XDA I think :)
 
MY phone should arrive from mobiles.co.uk before 1pm today but instead of being excited I am sat worrying about whether or not I should have just waited for the iPhone4g ARGH :O

Its 14 days to return something you bought online right?

I'd check with the company you got it from really, sure you get 7 days at the very least.....

Why not keep it, play with it and if the iPhone is still tugging your threads then sell the Desire on ebay as 'nearly new'.

Well I am entering into a new big fat 24 month contract wtih T-Mob with the Desire. So no idea if I could use the iphone on the same package or not, else yes that would be an option :)

Should really have given it a few weeks to see what the new iphone has to offer but tbh I am just so bored of my iPhone and the new one on keynotes kinda looked like the same thing :|

People keep raving about waiting for the Evo but from the tech specs I have read it appears to have the same as the Desire but a bigger screen, without a higher resolution?
 
How do i find out how much battery life i have, Can't seem to find any option at all?

All can you save youtube vids you view on your sd card?


Finally have my contacts all sorted thanks to Khaaan.
 
Yup battery life can be viewed by installing a battery widget (sig link for appbrain for one I use).

There are apps on the Market to download youtube videos too.

Is there a way to remove voice mail off speed dial number 1 ?


Also how on the main home screen do i get the weather under the clock next to my location?

You should be able to replace it by reassigning to another number:

- Press HOME, and then tap Phone.

- Press MENU, and then tap Speed dial > Add new.

- Enter the name of the contact you want to add. When the name comes up in the list, tap the name.

- On the Speed dial screen, select the phone number of the contact to use, and the phone keypad assignment. Tap Save.

Yeah i've done that number 1 isn't a option it seems just 2-9 ?
