Show Us Your Motors!

I drive a Corsa C (Dad owns, I get insured on it) like yours and I don't think it's bad at all. I think they look a lot better at stock than most other super minis.

However...that looks god awful.

Maybe that's why he kicked them :)

They're pretty crap but they're not linglong dangerous - they do stop quite well, they're just noisy and dont give a great deal of traction. Unfortunately it's pretty difficult justifying £400 on new tyres for a car I'm getting rid of

Wow no wonder - if I went to view a premium car and fond it shod with Triangles I'd kick them, make my excuses and leave as well, perhaps taking the time to make you a derisory offer a few days later just incase you were daft enough to accept it, giving I'd be silly not to allow for a large repair budget incase I found any more of the previous owners bodges

Hmm fair point, I didn't see him look closely enough to notice but he might have done before ringing the door bell.

In fairness, the tyres were put on by the dealer, the car's been extremely well looked after but it's a good point that a potential buyer wont notice that.

Bearing in mind a full set of decent tyres takes my price down towards the prices dealers have been offering me, do you not think it's better just to bear with them? Not everyone is that observant (or bothered)...

I totally agree its pointless replacing them but it explains the guy taking one look and leaving!
