Show Us Your Motors!

Wow :) I paid £2250 for it 9 months ago on the basis it needed a cambelt and some other bits. I've spent a bit on it but it's gotta be worth 2500 looking at comparable cars. Scene tax to an extent I wholeheartedly agree... but I bought it because I didn't see any Focus's or Astra's with similar performance for the same money, so I kinda bought the engine and the car came around it :)

I do agree they're worth more than they should be but I wouldn't say it's lost 750 quid in 9 months even I have put 7000 miles on it. 1.8t's do fetch a lot more cash than 2.0 horrible machines. It's a decent one (now! lol). If I could have afforded better, I would have. All I'm saying is it's still essentially a cheap car and thus I don't think it's worth me spending loads on a few not particularly noticable paint issues, I'm fussy but there's a limit on whats sensible to spend.

Anyways on with looking at peoples motors :)

Glad you said that as I uploaded these to Facebook earlier. Went out for a drive with my housemate and his Fiesta Zetec-S tonight. Absolutely fabulous evening... absolutely fabulous roads.

New company transport. I managed to find one with a few upgrades from the usual Titanium spec :)

2.0 TDCI 140
Leather/Alcantara Interior
Front/Rear Parking Sensors
Adaptive Cruise Control
Bi-Xenons
Upgraded Stereo and Speakers
Sports Pack with 18" Alloys

Loads nicer to drive than my previous Mondeo Zetec. A bigger car yet far more nimble.

I've got it for another 3.5 years mate so I'll let you know ;)

It really is a lovely car. I went for the booted version which IMHO really makes the care feel more solid. No more noise from the boot etc.

The only thing I wish the car had is a nice V6 engine. The diesel unit isn't bad but.....

I'll get some shots of the interior up in a mo.

edit... The pictures don't do the seats justice at all.

Nice, I had a hire car in what looks like the same spec too, with that stupid full colour TFT in the instrument panel that looks like it should be sat-nav but isn't :(

I could have had the satnav option in another car but the overall spec was far less. Plus as you say that's not where the satnav goes :(

Also the satnav stereo isn't as good as they Sony unit.

Will just have to keep the TomTom lol.
