Yes, I'm aware of that. But surely 3GB/20GB is better than 500MB.

I wouldn't worry too much though Bradmax57, you probably won't be going over it, unless you stream music and video much, or use the sat nav loads. (Loading pictures and such)

does anyone have this phone on an orange contract?

can you please tell me if it is branded and if so what like?

Also do you get good 3g internet speeds?

Mines on Orange, The branding isn't terrible, Orange logo on boot, and a few icons changed, really isn't a lot tbh. Though I've de-branded mine anyway

cheers mate, just needed to know if it was so bad that it would ruin my whole android experience, free for 25pm for 18 months from dialaphone me thinks...

They do also remove the Google Talk client, have several games demos which you cannot uninstall and have their own Maps application as well.

Been going through the motions of rooting...

Bit of a problem at my end... got round the error 90 thing etc without issue.

But after running step 2, I get to the recovery menu - but there's no way to alter the selection... only reboot device is selected... I've tried using the volume keys and optical trackball to no avail.... just cannot get the cursor to move at all

I must have tried 4 times now (rebooting phone, going back in to recovery and running step 2 again)

Have also tried the alternate enter-recovery.bat file.... same thing

Any advice?

ah ha, I now see what they were saying :) Im on a Business Tarrif with an additional £5 data bundle (whatever amount that is) but as I dont pay the bill im not the slightest bit worried :D

I'm a dumb-ass... just checked the trackball under the OS & it seems to have lost a significant amount of its sensitivity - but can still just about be used... went back in to recovery... figured out how to get it to work (with my nail, wtf!?) and now i'm rooted :D
