Does anyone have any idea why my gmail being on my phone is stopping me from using it on my PC? its really bugging me now

What mail client are you using on the pc?
Its a widget on igoogle, but I can't even login using the web addy, it'll just loop back to the login screen.

If you really really must have that look then I'm sure someone has a home replacement theme out there for it although I would bet that they're not very popular among Android forum users

Just press the menu button and it looks exactly like the iPhone. The iPhone has no home screen, it automatically loads the menu the second you unlock it. Presumably apple thought the typical userbase was too dim to handle a homescreen or a seperate button to access the menu.
hehe can't believe that comment caused such a stir! I am so tempted by the Desire over the Iphone you see and am beginning to research the Desire, but one really good looking part of the iphone I like is the menu as the home screen.

Well you could use a black wallpaper and fill every screen with app shortcuts?
Then fill your home screen with menu buttons and voila!
Though in all honesty, why?
just think it looks nice. I didn't realise it was that customisable! Sounds awesome that you can design your own home screen! I need to have a go on one of these things.
Can I ask - does anyone use a big keyboard app for their Desire, and if so how do they find it?

I Got a Gmail icon i can't workout how to remove from the home screen
Hold down on it for a moment then drag it to 'Remove' at the bottom.
