It's attached to a wireless flash receiver which is sitting on the dvdrw drive :p

Sparta battery life seems good, I unplugged at 8am this morning and right now it's 34%, I watched youtube Whose Line videos at lunch and did random stuff as well as take a few very short calls among other gubbins like browsing some sites and so on. Wireless on at all times.

Good stuff!

Yup, same here. First the HD, then the HD2, then the EVO*, unfortunately we get teh design styling of blind monkeys for out Android phones (Desire anyone...?)

*not in looks order, just release order. :p
 
Battery is still 34% since my last post, I've only used it briefly to take a pic for random images thread otherwise it's been idle!

In Sparta everything works pretty much, everything that works on the stock ROM works in Sparta. Just untick the "Always ask me" USB connection box and select the USB mode from the system tray because there's a small bug in it not asking you!

Well thats good news, my first try of 2.2 was with the defost one and it was rubbish!

Just fixed this before I read it here, only issue I've found so far. (And it's a fairly non-issue with a fix like that) :p

A quickky before I go off to browse the forums.

Can an Orange whored up handset be flashed with another ROM or am I looking at only being able to debrand it?
 
Using HTC_IME_Mod v26.

The great thing about Sparta as well as that it has AdFree built in so you won't see ads in ad-supported apps :)
 
There are a lot of people using custom Roms out there it seems but. I never fancied it after coming ever so close to bricking my iPhone 1st gen phone (pre UK release) and the week I spent trying to recover it and the hassle of further updates!
 
OK I just discovered there's an Android /b/ app, thats one point for the Desire! I can't see Apple letting 4chan onto their beloved app store!
