Yes but like I said England wont make Wales or any other part of the UK feel apart of it so why support them? Why not another country? We'll have it shoved down our throats for the next 44 years... we are "forced" to support England by way of TV, newspaper, commercial advertising
 
It’s just more boring marketing. You have to be on the bandwagon to be a “cool” supplier of goods. All these logos on packaging will look silly when it's all over. I just ignore them.

WTF? Wales is not only a part of the UK, it is a part of England. You need to put down Y Ddraig Goch and make a cup of tea or something.
 
Mars is based in Slough, which is in England.

I'm sure companies based in Scotland or Wales would support their national team as well.
 
Like the England bid World cup 2018 bid….. why havn’t we bid as United Kingdom? Once again a perfect example of England distancing them selfs from the rest of the UK!

Please dont get me wrong, i've got nothing agaist the English people, i've got family all over there!

I just sick of it and for that reason in some way i hope you dont get the 2018 bid.... However it will be good for UK as a whole so i hope you do.... i just wish we could all be a bit more inclusive of each other rather than England take take take and then shove it down our throats. Wales is a rubbish team and wont make the world cup for a long time.... i'd love to support a local team but i just cant bring myself to do it!

Yes but they wouldn't completely saturate the English Market with their support of Wales would they?

I know it sounds pathetic, but you have no idea of how pee'd off people are of seeing things like Mars bar wrappers everywhere!

lol, World Cup bids are made by the country's football association - there isn't a UK FA. The ignorance and chip on the shoulder is amazing in this one.
 
I think they paid John Barnes in Mars Bars for being on that advert from the looks of him these days. :D

Actually all attempts to create a British Football team have been squashed by the Welsh and Scottish Football Associations. This was the case with competeing in the Olympics. They wish to keep their independence so don't blame the English for something you are responsible for.

Exactly, FA WANT a British team for 2012, Welsh and Scots do not, even though Wales is technically part of England

I think you'll find it is as nationalism in Union (not English I might add) prevents a UK team. Case and point being the other FAs pulled out of the "British" 2012 football team, leaving only England. Once again, Anglophobia.
