I'd be happy with Portal 2 (providing it had a storyline that crossed over with the HL universe and gave us some juicy morsels about the Borealis or the remains of Black Mesa).

Of course, I'd be over the moon with HL2:Ep3. I really think they should conclude this episodic debacle and then give us HL3 in 2 - 3 years time.

I don't care what it is tbh. When valve say surprise, it's normally a good surprise.

Heck, I'd be happy if it related to any of their games to be honest as I own the lot! If its the Engie update, cool. If it's new campaigns for L4D or L4D2 then great! If it's EP3 or HL3 then AWESOME, but whichever way it pans out I'm looking forward to it!

Tbh, I'd be very happy with a massive DLC for L4D2, ie a couple of new campaigns and the new infected that they talked about still being in development when the game was initially released.

Left 4 Dead 3? I want it ofc, but preferrably much later on with the next engine, not yet (I would have said the same with L4D2, they should've just made more campaigns for L4D1 and maybe introduced the spitter/official smoker cloud and saved L4D2 for the new engine).

I'd also be happy with Portal 2 or HL3. HL2:EP3 doesn't really bother me. Haven't played either of the first 2 eps yet as I still need to finish HL2...

Just to make sure you realise that I agree. The time for a future sequel would be a few years from now, with the next game engine. Not the current one. My last post may have made it sound like I wanted an L4D game this year, which I don't.

In retrospect of the rumour above, I've revised my prediction to new Source 2 engine with a fairly quick release and SDK (< 1 month). Then all Source games ported to new Source engine in the coming months, released piece meal in a run up to a big game release. Portal 2, HL2: Ep3 etc..

I'll put my money on some kind of New Engine announcement to replace Source, but it wont be available straight away until they've finished updating the current Source games.

I'm sticking to my guns here.
