For some reason ADW Launcher started being really sluggish when scrolling homescreens....so back to launcherPro I go!
 
i'm trying to get as case to stock Android as possible, and am trying to do this with MCR3.1. I've got access to the custom ROM kitchen, and remove all the sense stuff, thinking (as the kitchen indicated) that this would leave me with the stock launcher.

but, it doesn't. i get no launcher at all. can i get the stock launcher anywhere, or will i have to use something else. if so, what launcher is nearest to stock?

I've just ordered a desktop charger cradle thing and a Martin Fields screen protector.

Should come on Saturday hopefully, will report back if the screen protector is any good at reducing smudges and if it doesn't reduce the screen quality too much.

I've got a Martin Fields and there is still some smudge not as bad as before but I can't see how you would get away with it as it's a clear glass like surface with or without a screen protector, I forget it's on there though, doesn't affect finger swipe in any way..

What desk charger did you order and is it just a chager or can it sync?

Quickest way would be to go to your google account now and add all the numbers to your google contacts, then when you get the phone put in your google username/password and it will add them all for you :)

I use ADW.Launcher

You can set it up to be just like 2.2 :)

It's the FoneM8 one, plenty of them around on various sites.

Says this -

I've not used my desktop charger much, the Desire feels so fragile when I'm taking it off the stand. I feel I'm going to knacker the mini usb port or something. :(
 
is it just me or have the mobiles.co.uk deals disappeared? could have sworn there was an x minutes 500 texts + unlimited data + free phone for £25pm 18 month on there?

I really don't want to jump on a 2 year contract (I resent that things have moved from 12 to 18, let alone 24) but this is the kind of deal I want. Will be phoning T-Mobile retentions tonight but looking at recent threads don't expect much luck!

MPD have better deals over Mobiles. A few ordered from Mobiles though as MPD were out of stock for a while.
 
Mine still wouldn't work, using the 4GB Sandisk it came in the box with. Going to order an 8GB and try using that, then I can use that as my storage afterwards.

Grr.

will it let me cherry pick my contacts as i have loads in gmail i would not want on my 'phone contacts'
