Hi guys,
My wife sold her 16gb 3gs yesterday which was on 02 pay and go. She's removed her sim card anyway.
Obviously she is now using an old rubbish phone for a couple of week. How can I make sure she gets one on launch day?
Do we keep refreshing the 02 website, carphone warehouse website on the 15th? the 24th? Do we camp outside the shop on the 24th? Help!

Currently have 4 months left on my vodafone contract and just wanna get a payg... but after the 4 months I will probably look to switch over to the O2 simplicity plan 30 day contract?

no one is sure about the preorder yet, no details have been released but saying the 15th.
Best bet is to camp out at the shop.
On the 3g release, i rocked up about 8.45 and left the store at 9.30 with my new phone.

I put it on the bay but someone local emailed me asking if they could come over and pay cash. It was six months old I think and it pretty good condition. I had a look and they seem to go for between £250 and £350
Camping out is the best part lol, I was first in line in Newton Abbot for my 3G and i got there at 5Am, and by 5:30am there was 10 people in line surprisingly 2 girls lol.
Is it bad that ive never felt more like i fitted in that que of people than any other group lol. They had geeky apple Tshirts etc
it was great talks about BSG and SG1 and all sorts lol
I only just subscribed to spotify. However, according to their site, spotify streams at "approximately 160kb/s". I work that out at 7.11 hours of streaming before you hit 500MB. Or, put another way, approximately 14 minutes of 3G streaming a day for a month. This assumes no other data usage and that you dont use the offline mode.
Oh, and yes, I am bored
Dont forget that Spotify caches streamed tracks and you can also download your playlists - 7.5 hours doesnt sound much though.....

I've never been the biggest apple fan, but I am a geek. Yes it does hurt.
If I see people walking around town with them, or people on forums posting photos and I didn't get one I'd be p***ed

.right i was just on o2 live chat talking to a customer service advisor. I asked him that would i be forced to drop or change my current package which is a simplicity 30 day rolling contract for a iphone which has unlimited data, 1200 text (or 300 mms). I told him i wanted to buy an iphone 4 as pay as you go and using my current package. He said that be fine I can buy the iphone pay and you go and use my current deal.
I'm just concerned it will run out of stock, that's my only problem, I'm going on holiday for 4 days after launch and probably won't take it with me.
I know PAYG you can preorder from apple on the 15th, didn't know if tere was going to be any system for contract upgrades.

I'll be looking at purchasing a iPhone 4 end of the month, and want to purchasing it PAYG not contract.
Last year when I did this, I purchased the 3GS direct from Apple.com store, I swear and I'm 99.99% certain it was just the iPhone unlocked ( SIM free ), no o2 ( or Orange by now ) affiliation when purchasing PAYG. The helpdesk say they never sold it apart from PAYG with o2.
Either I'm going crazy orthey came unlocked and never sent a added o2 SIM in the package?

Why do people feel the need to camp out on release day? Its not like Apple wont be making anymore?
i was going to email them through contact us on the o2 website While filling in the form abox appered saying i could talk to someone right now via live chat so i just click on it.
