*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

Hey guys

I've got 8 months left on my orange contract if i get the iphone 4 on pay&go can i carry on using my contract on the new phone and just change the plan to have internet, and will orange send me a new microsim to use thx.

Does anyone have an idea on how many are going to be available, Is it likely they will run out of stock before general sale?

I doubt I'll be able to get one until a week after launch so more than likely they might of sold out.

haha cheers.

Anyone have a rough idea of how much you will need to stump up to get one, monthly that is...

I'm hoping I can afford the 32Gb. But not confident, I should have £250 to put towards it

I took out, foolishly, a new Orange 3GS contract @ £35pm in March-ish. What price the new iPhone 4 as an upgrade do you reckon?

i took a new 3gs contract out with t mobile 3 weeks ago ! but phone was through chitter chatter and fully unlocked so sold it on the bay for 330 so now i can get apayg 4 and keep my sim with unlimited internet , text and landline calls

anyone have a good guide in how to cut a sim card to make it ip4 compat.? seen afew online but not very clear ? ty

You wont need to cut your sim if you buy the phone on PAYG (full amount). Just contact your carrier and they'll change your contract sim over to the micro sim provided with the PAYG iphone 4.

Cant see why it cant happen - not like they dont carry other smartphones...

What are they like as a network? Identical to T-Mobile I presume (just not with the added benefit of Oranges network eventually?!?)

ps3ud0

What's everyones preferred choice of network?

Really want to move from O2 but I have a feeling if their upgrade deal is decent I will stay with them just to save money.

Currently on the £35 pm 600mins and unlimited data iPhone contract with O2 and still have 14 months left on it so I figure the best thing for me to do if I want the new iPhone is to buy the handset and sell my 3GS as it seems to work out best money wise and I also don't like the data caps on the new contracts.

Will I have to cut my current contract sim card down to micro sim size or can I ask O2 to replace it with a micro sim?
