So PayG is £30 cheaper for the 32gb being locked to Orange.

everyone is keepign very quiet, also form what i have picked up apple stores were quite surprised to have taken all the orders which they did. could there be a possible stock shortage, therefore carriers not knowing the AMOUNT OR IF ANY iphone 4's will be ready for them to ship on the 24th..

I just went and asked in the o2 shop round the corner and he said he can just swap the sim for me, as long as they have them in stock. He says they're expecting quite a lot of iPhone 4s, and currently have millions of 3GSs in stock

So it's ok to keep my preorder with apple and then sort out a micro sim with o2 seperately? (need to get my contract sim transferred)

how can apple sell iphones that use a micro sim, when they dont supply a micro sim and all networks are saying they will only supply a micro sim if you buy through them

doesnt make sense to me?! pointless because apple will end up with 6million returned iphone's?

From what they say on their site you should be able to pay it off with £160, best thing to do with your 3gs is give it to someone in family or sell it on recycle o2

I'm not 100% - because they're o2 and we do Apple stuff they send a fair few customers our way for support, so maybe it's a favour. Seemed like it wouldn't be a big hassle though.

Yes if its any sort of hassle to get a sim from o2 ill just cancel my simplicity contract in favour of orange version

Im a new iPhone and a new O2 customer.

I have ordered the iPhone from apple, I will be ok just to walk into an O2 store and ask for a simplicity chip that is also a micro sim.

This is my plan, hopefully there are no downfalls!

Eh? They are terrible. £940 over 18 months for a 16GB iPhone 4.

Compare that to sim-free handset from Apple + Simplicity from O2.

i am because i can use a simplicity deal for 12 months get unlimited texts and 1600mins for £30 a month

This is not true. If you are an existing O2 customer, you can simply ask them to send out a new microsim. They then have a form online that you fill in to activate the new sim and deactivate your old.
