No. £500 direct from Apple, then sign up to Simplicity
It seems self explanatory to meSo to ge the phone at £179/£119 you have to go with one of the 24 or 18 months contracts?
That is the most confusing table ever!
I think I've figured out what I'm going to do. I'm currently on O2 iPhone Simplicity 20 - 1 Month rolling contract:
300mins
Unlimited Data and Text & Wifi
Visual Voicemail
£20.00 per month
I have a recycle price of £150.00 for my 3G 8GB handset. I'm going to buy a handset from Apple and take out a 12 month iPhone Simplicity 20 contract now - keeping my unlimited data for a year.
16GB iPhone4 = 499.00 - £349.00 taking recyle into account
iPhone Simplicity 20 - 12 month (£15.00 per month) = £180.00
300mins
Unlimited Data, Text & Wifi
Visual Voicemail
Total = £529.00 with handset recycle discount
£679.00 without handset recyle discount
Anyone see any flaws with my plan or are there any better options on O2? I've already given O2 my details for a microsim to be delivered, so I should be able to transfer my contract to a microsim using the o2 website.
The early upgrade is only available 24th June to 24th July..
Won't let you do it after surely
After October it gets reduced to the new caps, except for existing customersSo how unlimited is the data on the O2 Simplicity tariffs? I guess they have a fair usage policy as well?
Plus, ETA for a sim-free iPhone off the Apple store is now 2nd July. D'you guys reckon it'll come before that?

Does anyone else just not know what the **** to do?
Are the Apple reserved iPhone 4's only on PAYG or new contracts?.
You will, because they have made the announcement. However, if I (for example) was to keep my current account going (which was started 18 months ago), I would not be hit with new capsThanks for the reply. Does that mean that if I was to take one out now, I wouldn't get reduced?
Not just PAYG they will sort out contracts renewal/new/early upgrade in store- checked with Apple store in White City yesterday.
No but if you go in to sign up and they have no handsets surely thats something they have to honour?
£8 - 10Guys, anyone know the cost to send an iPhone RMSD?
£8 - 10
