** Official WoW Catalysm Alpha/Beta Thread **

Hmm, losing Path of the Titans is very disappointing. Are they planning on bringing it (and the guild talents) back at all?
 
I was never sold on Path of the Titans, as G-Man pointed out there is always going to be a combination that works best and everyone will just go for that. The other problem is what happens with it next expansion, does it continue or just forgot about, plus adds a whole new dimension to balance.

Was probably one of those things that looked good on paper but when people started using it was clear it wouldnt work :(

My god that was a while ago :) There is still a Wiped guild on Draenor with a Bumhug the only member, but the original has moved about a bit and had a few name changes along the way :)

I re-registered <Swiped> about 3 months back, and currently Kaywinnit is the GM on an alt. I tried to register <Wiped> but it was still registered to you. ;)

I have now deleted all my chars and have absolutely, positively 99.9999% quit now. Unless I get sucked back in for the expansion. :o
 
That would be because battlenet is down for maintenance for 2 days. :)

I only know this because my friend got his account hacked and got told about the maintenance and told he has to wait for 2 days at least for it to be back up.
 
I don't see it listed anywhere that battle.net is under maintenance for 2 days, especially since other WoW forums are working, as does logging into both the live and alpha clients.

Well, you don't need to log into battle.net website to access normal forums nor to log into game.

Doesn't let me log in to the battle.net site neither but has no mention of a timeframe.
 
Arrgh I did the character transfer whilst at work but decided to wait til I got home to download the client. Battle.net is now down and I forgot to send the link to myself. Doh!
 
Can't even find a single (obvious) mention of battle.net maintenance anywhere on the live forums no idea what the deal is there >.>
 
Don't suppose anyone has an idea as to how close it is to beta testing? Didn't try to get into the alpha test offer as I thought it looked a bit dodgy for me to try this having just joined the forums, but hoping to get a chance in the random beta invites.

Wouldn't imagine it would be too long as in expecting a September time release on the game but you never quite know with blizz :p
 
id imagine it wont be a september release, it will be the same as the last one which was a november release. considering blizzcon is october!
 
not got any massive hopes of getting into it, been in wow since the start and didn't get into the previous 2 expansion betas, was just curious if anyone knew more.
