Guys,

Someone remind me how to properly wipe an iPhone (no chance of restoring info I hope?) - about to head out and will probably do it on the move...

Luton O2 store have the iPhone 4 microSIMs available but only for Apple pre-orders...

Same here mate. Just called o2 support so they can check if the local stores near me have the micro sims in yet as the walsall branch didn't. All 3 of the other nearby stores haven't got their micro sims yet either. This was news to them as they were told all stores will have them by the 21st. They said they'll try and get the info on the site sorted as its now misleading as not all stores have them yet. Sort it out o2 :rolleyes:

Settings > General> Reset> Erase all

Pretty sure thats it if you want to do it whilst you're out.

When i part ex'd my 3G to cex though i believe i hooked it upto itunes and just did a restore. Either way should work out fine though :)

I'm sure this has been answered, but isn't iOS4 out today for the 3g/3gs?
I went to update my 3gs but...it says 3.1.3 is the latest.
 
Going to head down to the Apple Store early on friday to try to catch my reservation i cant take as i dont have the money till pay day Friday.

Hopefully they will have a handfull of phones first thing in the morning from people who didnt turn up like me.

Just signed up to this exact contract at the O2 store in bristol. They said the data will last the length of the contract. Also got my iPhone sim, generally a really good service.
 
Doesnt that mean your existing SIM is defunct? What are you using in your current iPhone? MicroSIM + adapter? I might ask for the same if they do...

o2 send you a micro sim but it will be inside a normal sim - so you use it in your phone now - and when you get the iPhone 4 - you break the micro sim away from your normal sim :)
