Obviously seeing as he was far from the worst?

He was the only player that looked like creating anything for us all game. In actual fact, other than the Lennon cross that fell to Lampard in the box, our only other 2 chances came from Gerrard.

He's been a nobody in the first two games. Along with Carragher, he's also the player most likely to get sent off. Not starting him is an option.

Rooney as a lone striker isn't working for England, even if it worked for ManU last season. I'd rather have Crouch and Defoe up front as strike partners, and Rooney behind em. Or Gerrard, and Rooney "the angry millionaire" on the bench for a bit.
 
So peeps what do you recon the outcome of wednesday game will be.

With the Clear-the-Air talks i hoping we score a 2-1 win against slovenia.
however if the team talks didn't work and we play like we did on saturday, we will surely Lose.

i definately think there should be a slight change with Defoe and Crouch, replacing rooney or heskey.

rooney seems like a lone attacker and didn't really get the ball that much or create any chances. Lamps needs the pass the ball every game i have seen him go for a shot when players are free that could create a possible goal.

Well according to the pre match on ITV...it could be that defoe and rooney might start up front tommorrow...again no starting place for J Cole...

Calling it now 1-0 to Slovenia...but im hoping really hoping that england get a result and go through the next round.

Get a grip already. Even if by some miracle England get a result tomorrow and get through they'll get trounced by whoever they draw against. Personally i'd rather England just go out now so we can avoid the media bull**** about England getting through and the whole false hope crap.
 
You do realise if Slovenia defend heavily, England can just pile the pressure onto a team that's allowing England time to attack, which will most likely end up with England winning.
