*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

My mate is on his way home, he picked up a 32GB and a 16GB from trafford centre manchester at around 11.30am, and was there since 6am lol.

I am very concerned about these reception/wifi issues. Those who have it, please test away and post your findings.

OK seems Apple cocked up my order and luckily sent the phone but not the Bumper or Travel Kit - gonna take a week to sort it out effectively. Hoping to get a Bumper on Saturday if I can though...

I cant get through to o2 on 202 anyone else had any issues?

Stelly

it took me over 2 hours this morning kept getting user busy started calling at (8:00am on the dot) on 8002 (business support number) to get through to them. Their phone system is getting hammered and it doesn't help that after 24 minutes of being on hold the line just goes silent.

Just waiting for my confirmation text for my 32GB. I'm hoping it gets dispatched tonight for delivery tomorrow. First time I have had to pay for an upgrade so hopefully the trade in cost for my 8GB 3G covers most if not all of it.

Not opened my new phone yet but I vaguely recall having similar problems after getting my 3GS at launch and being a little flakey with wifi. Imagine it will get sorted soon enough.

I have mine in my bag. Took about 1.5hrs. No worries.
I'm now in reading for some lunch and the queue is still mental. I'm sure glad I decided to try the out of town cpws.

Actually you're wrong there. Back in 2002, MS concepted a device which was virtually identical to the current iPad. They just never produced it as they said there was no need for it, and back then, the cost of the finished product would have been out of most peoples budgets. Apple are far from pioneers

There is also the "Courier" from MS which makes the iPad look about 5 years old already

The big difference between Microsoft and the Apple tablets? Apple shipped theirs!

A quick question to anyone who has recyled their old iPhone with O2 recycle. What address did you sent your phone away to if you used recorded/special delivery?

There are a few videos out there now proving that it's a software issue (Where they show a 3GS on 3.0 with no problem & then on 4.0 with the problem).

Hopefully they get it sorted ASAP...

This is gonna be a massive recall, haha

Why are you even here? :p

So, I reserved at regent street, but won't get there until 6pm after work. Chances of making it through the purchase process by closing time?

If not, I'm guessing my window of opportunity is gone for getting one unless I queue at dawn tomorrow?

Are those devices losing service?

Dropping a few bars isn't that big of a problem but the iPhone 4 is losing service for a fair few people.
