Hmm, odd.

I'm connecting my phone to the PC and its stopped asking me what I want it to do (charge, diskdrive, etc). Although it's ticked as "ask me" and a removable drive appears in windows if I click on it, it says "please insert a removable device......."

Any ideas?

Try a reboot (of the phone)... it happens to me every so often and restarting the Desire solves the problem

Type about:debug in the browser gives you more options in settings. It's one right at the bottom, change it from android to desktop. Think you need to enter it everytime you restart the browser though.
