Ooh, also, are there any updates from people who were reporting orange spots yesterday? Hopefully they are dissapearing?
I disagree. I hold my new £600 iPhone 4 in the palm of my hand, and load up Safari and start to browse. Within 20 seconds, I'm off 3G and onto Edge if I'm lucky. Every other time it skips Edge.
This DOES make a difference to me using the device. The article writer can make all the sarcastic points he likes about turning the phone over and the screen not being visible, but the point remains that when I pick my phone up it doesn't work as well as it does sitting on a desk.
That in my opinion, and it may differ to others, is not the level of quality I expected when paying for the device.
A significant part of the value of an Apple product is the user experience. So far, my experience of the iPhone 4 has been mediocre. There's so much else to like about the phone - the screen is fantastic - but this is a big issue for me, as I use a lot of data and make enough calls for it to be a problem.
I have a question for people who have the iPhone 4..
If your have FaceTime option on then if your on a normal call where's the option to put them on hold??

"the bubble geeks are off in their corner trying to memorize the finger motions required to get their iPhone 4’s calls to drop"

No. It's not like you have to stand on your head or perform finger gymnastics to get the signal to drop. All you have to do is hold the phone like people often hold phones. It's a problem which will come up in normal usage.
