3GS were never sold unlocked in the UK, whereas iPhone 4 are. Both phones when unlocked require connection to iTune when switching SIMs? I'd think so.

I hope that is the case, although I can't help worrying Apple might pull a fast one and modify the software to show more bars than it should (etc).

Still, its more promising than being told to **** off

Next day though you wouldn't have know it was there.

But has anyone taken out insurance to cover the phone with any company that would specialise or aching like that it, i know once i have it ill be paranoid, but don't want to have to put a case around it.

Add it to our house insurance - mine was just £3.33 a month

Depends on your house insurance policy. On mine it does, because I have those addons for the house and its contents.

Surely no service is no service though, what are they going to do give you 2 bars when you can't even get the network?

Once its fixed you will have nothing to moan about

Do you really think software is the reason and an update will fix it? It's hardware so i don't see how any software updates will fix it.

I hope they do tho as i was going to order one for my wife's birthday in till i realised i would be buying her a faulty phone.

I hope what ever they do they do it before the end of next month and it sorts it out

Have to say I'm loving my 4g, screen is pin sharp, I love the design of the handset, pictures and fantastic (yet to test the hd video but will today) ........

I haven't had/got any of the signal issue's but may try and blag a case from apple care later

Well its the morning after the night before, and yes i does look better now. But there is still this slight texture to it. I will have a think about putting it on the front today.

Btw, did you get the zagg's too?

I would also like to add, im using the zagg's with the bumper, and the bumper covers the tinyist amount of the zagg so you/i will get full protection.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the Co-Pilot update is out to fix the 4G screen issue, seems like a sizeable update, waiting for mine to update now

EDIT: Update has fixed the issue

EDIT2: Safety camera version doesn't match, then it freezes and I have to restart iPhone .......... pants
